An Audiologist and Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist for over 25 years, Laura Dennison is President of Patient Care for Audiologist Associates of Georgia in Lilburn. She has served as President of the Georgia Society of Hearing Aid Professionals as well as Vice Chairperson of the Georgia Licensing Board of Hearing Aid Dealers and Dispensers. She is currently a member of the Item Writing Committee for the National Board of Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences and a Vice Chair of the National Board of Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences. Additionally, she is Chairperson of the Scope of Practice Committee for the International Hearing Society. As President and Past Secretary of Duluth Rotary Club, Laura provides hearing care for the needy. She founded Hearts for Hearing and continues to spearhead this hearing aid project in the Dominican Republic. Since 1998, Hearts for Hearing has given hearing aids to thousands through funding obtained from grants Laura has successfully written for Rotary to finance. She has further organized the collection of used hearing aids in support of this effort. Since 1996, Laura has been an active participant and a Board Member of Orphanage Outreach. She is also a Board Member of the Aurora Theatre serving Gwinnett and the greater Atlanta area.
